Sometimes I get a crazy idea. This time it was to make a Trip Around the World charity quilt using leftovers from quilt backings and fabric given to me. I picked my focus fabric and a collection of seven prints. I cut my squares at 3.5" by 3.5" and got sewing. I pieced two rows at a time, working from the outside in. This quilt will come together quickly.
You can find many tutorials on how to make a quilt like this. The hardest part is keeping the colors straight so you get the right finish. I'm super happy with how this one came out. Now I just need to find some backing and get it quilte.
