Knitting Rainbows

I finally finished my little poncho. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Maybe after I mend in the ends and block it I will.

Yarn is sport weight from Freia Fine Handpaint Yarns.

Monster Socks from Knitterly Things

When I saw that Julia over at Knitterly Things had Monster Sock Yarn Kits available I jumped right over to pick up my own. My well packed kit showed up on Monday so I wanted to share it with you.
It is such a great pack of fun!
Measuring tape, tiny scissors, some stitch markers, and suckers I really shouldn't be so excited about. And the wonderful self-striping yarns! These are going to become socks this weekend. I can't wait!

Pick up your own Monster Socks Yarn Kit from Knitterly Things. Even if monster socks aren't your style you should check out Knitterly Things. You might find something that strikes your fancy.

Monster Socks

I promised more monster socks, so here is another pair.
This includes yarn left over from my last pair of monster socks. I like these more than I should. Remember, matching socks are for adventuresome spirits.
I made a second pair. This time I let this blue be the unifying force.
No matter how many of these I knit I still have yarn. So much fun! Now I have to sit still long enough to close up the toes.
