Puzzling

I picked up this puzzle at my local gaming store, Games & Stuff. They also sell online. 

Did I need a spooky puzzle? Not really. Am I glad I brought it home? Absolutely.

Machine Knitting

I've been thinking about knitting something with the LK150. I grabbed my copy of The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns: Basic Designs in Multiple Sizes and Gauges took some measurements and cast on. I used a simple e-wrap cast on and then hand manipulated the bottom 20 rows to make 2-by-2 ribbing. That took so much longer than knitting those 20 rows. I think it was worth it and definitely faster than knitting all that ribbing by hand.

I'm going to use a bunch of different colors in wide stripes. I'm just grabbing a color that I think will work and knit another 20 rows. I have reached the point where it is time to start decreasing for the arm holes.

I've been working on this puzzle from Odd Pieces for a couple weeks. So many fun characters.

I used the floral print to pull colors for the alternating blocks and borders. This one was fun. Pieced and quilted by me.

2026 Charity Quilt Count: 134

This and That

I pulled out the 2.5" strip box and sorted by color. The box was nearly overflowing. It looks like a blue charity quilt is in my future. Maybe two. 

I recently pieced a fun little quilt using this fabric. the fabrics from Quilts for Kids are always fun because I never know if I'm getting the full width of fabric to work with. This piece was the perfect size to cut charity quilt squares to pair with a brown fabric. 

I have stacks and stacks of squares cut, too. I'm always ready to cut grab a couple squares to finish up a quilt. Do you have scraps just waiting to be sewn into something fabulous?
