Brown Bag Mystery

Do you remember my Brown Bag Mystery Quilt? 

The big reveal happened last weekend. I decided it was time I got cutting and stitching. Here is the first clue, fun little uneven nine-patch units. How fun is that skeleton print!?! It is directional but I'm going to treat it as though it is a tossed print and let the pieces fall whichever direction they fall. 

Pieced sashings are delightful. The directions for these are great! I cut the quarter triangle units with the Accuquilt Go! So fast, and accurate.  

These outer sashing pieces are simple yet effective. 

Here is my progress so far. Shashings and center block units. I'm thinking of changing the corner stones up. Stay tuned for the next step.

Charity Quilting

Another jelly roll race quilt. This one was pieced by Julie. 

This simple yet effective strip quilt was made by Trudy and Janet. Both will be headed back to Annapolis Quilts for Kids for binding.
