Travel Crochet

Last week we went on an adventure. We took the Amtrak from Baltimore to Providence, Rhode Island. I took along this project to give my hands something to do as the north east passed by the window.

On the return trip I finished up the last row with shells. I was then left with my Kindle.

Charity Quilting

This fun little quilt was made using some blocks I received from another quilter. The half-square triangle blocks were already pieced, I just needed to press them and trim them down to size. I pulled some coordinating prints and this fun little quilt was born. 

This is one of the scrappy bricks quilts I pieced for Annapolis Quilts for Kids. Both will be headed to Annapolis Quilts for Kids for binding.

Scrappy Bricks

I've been piecing more of these scrappy bricks blocks. 

They come together easily and make a pretty fun little quilt. 

The block center squares and the borders give each quilt its own flavor.
