I try to visit my local quilt shop
Spring Water Designs every Small Business Saturday. They have a great selection of wide quilt backs and I want to support them. These are the three backings I picked up last Saturday.
Even when I'm working from my collection of fabrics I have to buy backings. Sure, I could piece a backing but that would be like making another quilt. I like the easy loading of wide backings for long arm quilting. Here are those backings paired with the tops. From the top:
Blueberry Charm,
Diabolical Jane, and
Double Wedding Ring.
One of my favorite things about
Spring Water Designs is the scrap bin. They have a bin with these clamshell containers.
Only $4 for everything you can fit into the container. I pack that container as full as I can get it.
So many great little pieces in this stack. I can't wait to cut them up and add them to a scrappy project.
