Quilt Piecing

I've been piecing quilts, too. This Trip Around the World is one I made recently. The trick to this one is having enough fabrics to make it work.

This one uses a few chicken fabrics, along with coordinating red and gold to make a fun chicken-themed quilt.

For this one, I pulled together reds and a gray to work with the polar bear print in several of the blocks.

That Trip Around the World is a really special quilt. You're right about it working when you have enough fabric. I've been caught a time or two......
