Four-Patch Fun

This is one of those projects that just sort of happens. I had this cute tweety bird fabric, but not a bunch, and some 2.5" strips in coordinating colors. Seemed a perfect combination. I paired up the blues with a strip of yellow and a strip of pink and made a bunch of little four-patch units.
Then I added a single 3" border to frame it. I want to try this with a different background print so expect to see at least one more of these sometime soon. This was made with leftovers from backings for charity quilts. I'll add it to my stack of charity quilts to get quilted this month. I wonder if I have any yellow.

If you want to contribute but don't have the time or skills, you can support the national Quilts for Kids by shopping through Amazon Smile. I don't earn anything from this link. This link lets your purchases support Quilts for Kids through Amazon. I don't add affiliate links to my charity quit posts on purpose. I donate my time, my machine, my thread, and my skill to the cause.
