First I made this one. Each block measures 12.5" by 12.5" and finishes at 12" by 12" in the finished quilt. Only nine blocks make a great baby quilt that measures about 36" by 36".
Then this one. I love scrappy quilts. Both of these will get quilted up for charity. This block can be made using just two dies from the Accuquilt Go 8 Inch Qube. If cutting with your ruler, you can get eight bricks from a single width-of-fabric 2.5" strip. It would make a great swap project, too. Tools and supplies (affiliate links):
