We pulled into Dakar, Sengal as our first stop in Africa.
This is a shot of the fort on Gorée island, which is just outside the mouth of the port.
There is a ferry that transits hourly from Dakar to Gorée island.
I didn't realize this fellow was bailing until I looked at the picture later. When I took the picture I was just trying to capture some of the local, small-craft traffic.
