After I got the top half rows pieced together, I sewed them together and made room for the bottom half on the design wall.
This is where I realized I should have started from the bottom.
Look at all those tiny pieces!
Since I was unable to cut the bottom row pieces as called for in the directions I had to make a small modification to the row. I think it turned out okay.
All the rows pieced together and the outside edge stay-stitched. I've put this one in a time-out until I have a chance to pick up some batting and a suitable backing.
